Warung Budiayu

Amazing food, huge portions, lovely owners Finally, Balinese food that tastes authentic and wasn't just 'simplified' for foreigners. Made with chillis (but you can also have it without). Wish we found this place sooner :)

This is a 5 restaurant. We were on Candidasa for 6 days and each day we ate here. This warung is run by a lovely, very friendly balinese family. The food is fresh and it is an explosion of flavours and spices. My favourite Mahi Mahi fish...but not only. We've tried balinese food and every dish was amazing. Kitchen is not only about the food but also about the people that create it and this place it is a loving combination of both

What a great night! Budi and Yianti showed us such great hospitality and the food was amazing. The portions were huge, the Bintangs were ice cold and we had a great chat. Put this place on your must go to list in Candidasa

Absolute amazing. It's taken a week and a half and this is the best food yet. Beef rending was awesome apart from other recomendations below. EDIT: I'm back 2 days later. I'm on a search for the best seafood fried noodles ( seafood mia gorang) this is my 8th in 12 days. This one is the best. They claim the trophy. Sis had garlic butter prawns. She moaned through it. Not good hearing my sister like that but she was definitely enjoying. Haha.. price put includes drinks cocktails and beers.

Family owned local restaurant „warung” with fresh and tasty food in very low prices. What you could want more? The staff is very friendly. Menu contains a lot of meals to choose from and the taste… I wish to order more and taste more, but unfortunately my stomach have limited capacity if you are tourist like me don’t be afraid such places as I was. I had no stomach problem after whatsoever.

Found this place by google. If you look for a good local restaurant, as an Indonesian, I highly recommend this place. Can park the car on the side of the restaurant. Ordered chicken curry and seafood fried noodles, generous portion, delicious and tasty. Excellent food and service. I will definitely come back on my way to Candi Dasa.

We had such a wonderful experience at Warung Budiayu in Candidasa! From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel so welcome with their warm hospitality and friendly smiles. The food is freshly cooked to order, delicious, and full of authentic flavours. Every dish tasted like it was made with love and care. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, making it excellent value for money. If you’re in Candidasa and looking for a place with a cozy atmosphere, local great food, and the kindest hosts, this warung is a must-visit.

My family ate here for dinner 3 of the 5 nights we were staying in the Candidasa area and we loved it! The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. We particularly loved the fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, fried noodles, and curry!
